Amongst us British men; if you drive a Mini your friends will take the piss out of you. It's a girls car. Mostly only women drive Mini's in the UK.

Furthermore, I've driven three different Mini's and I found them all pretty underwhelming and over priced.

Does anybody fancy one of my moaning articles in the form of my Koenigsegg one? I could easily rant about this car. Don't buy it unless you absolutely love it.

Well again, he's really into british men. I have an odd feeling a new mini cooper is right up his alley.

And don't rant about the Koenigsgsggsegegsgegsgesggeggsgseesssgegsgsseg, but you can tell me all about THE LANCASTER BOMBERS THAT WON US THE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR! (so British!)

If so, then fair play! But amongst your mates here you'd get it ripped out of you for owning a Mini, just remind him of that!

Oh God, here we go with the 'Girl's Car' again...What an idiotic concept / phobia. Maybe you need new friends that are more emotionally / sexually secure.

With the exception of the pseudo CUV things they put out recently, Minis are brilliant cars; lightweight (by today's standards), agile and fuel / space efficient, fun as hell to drive and some even have serious performance. Many many auto journos have confirmed this over the last ten years or so, as have the many many people that have bought them, raging form girly girls and manly men. You're free not to like them of course, but when doing so, just admit it's due to your own preferences and other insecure mens opinions.

Hold on a minute, did I mention MY friends or even ME? Are you stupid? Read the text properly before launching an attack on myself or the company I choose to keep.

So how about I clear this up for you big guy? I don't like Mini's because I've driven 3 of them and I found them all underwhelming and unimpressive. My friend recently looked at buying a Mini Cooper S and decided against it because he found the same thing. Both myself and him are very much car enthusiasts and we drive a lot of cars.

I couldn't give a rat's arse what most auto journalists make of cars, until you go out and drive one yourself you don't actually know what they are really like.

The consensus amongst many BRITISH MEN is that these cars are 'girly'. Just like the Audi TT is 'girly'. WHICH I HAPPENED TO OWN for four years. See my review please. I made a comment about my country and my people based on my own personal experience, just as I did the car I drove. Nobody else has decided to launch an attack on myself or my friends and the only reason you have is because you cannot be bothered to read a comment properly. Be more careful in future.

Everyone's stupid occasionally, including myself, but it seems that there's a misunderstanding here. "You" wasn't meant to mean 'you' specifically, but rather used in a way where 'one' is more appropriate; "One is supposed to", as opposed to "you're supposed to". My apologies for imprecise use of English which you perceived as an insult /attack, as it was not the intent. Just tired of immature machismo of which I'm reminded of every time I see a 'bro' in a lifted Ford F-150 w/ monster truck tires intimidating other less manly vehicles because of his insecurities. Way too much infantile testosterone fueled attitudes out in the world, especially in the automotive world.
